About Us

Visions Photography by Swain, located in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, specializes in wedding day and portraiture photography. Our work is displayed throughout the US, Canada and Europe. Dan was named 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014 Wedding Photographer of the year by The Akron Society of Professional Photographers (ASPP). In addition, Dan was named 2012 Senior Portrait Photographer of the Year. ASPP, which consists of many professional photographers throughout NE Ohio, is affiliated with Professional Photographers of Ohio (PPO) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA). This prestigious award was given to Dan for his three prints submitted to a panel of independent Master Photographers. Dan also was the runner up in the H. S. senior division.

As a husband & wife team, we are dedicated to producing photographs that are truly unique in style and creativity. We combine technology with personal service. Together, we create images that capture the emotions and moments that make your photography session a one-of-a-kind event.

Dan has been taking photographs since his childhood. As an adult he graduated from the Ohio Institute of Photography in 1986. After graduating he studied under master photographers, where he was taught the art of lighting and posing to capture the emotion and personality of his subjects.
